During this afternoon's cool, overcast and humid patch watch this guy showed up. WCSP often seem to have an uneven molt here, maybe everywhere. Two of the three White-throated sparrows we've been seeing here were popping in for brief visits, often scared off by the squirrels or California Quail, who seem to be scared of their shadows, even on overcast days. One of the WTSP seems to be a first winter "white-striped", the other an adult "tan-striped".
